2019 Wrap Up

Oh my oh my, it didn't feel that long since our last wrap up! This year flew by a flash - we've tried many new things and grown a lot in the past year. Cut the chase, here's our highlights of 2019!

Empowering Girl Bosses in Tech:

Started our 2019 with a community project! This was in collaboration with Nimble Marketing Consultancy and Reyna Movement. We were able to meet so many other talented entrepreneurs and also teach young girls more about floristry and entrepreneurship (and also to share the love of flowers!).

We're definitely looking forward to continue working with various groups of people in the upcoming 2020. Giving back to the community is definitely something the team is passionate about and hopes to actively partake in as we move forward.

Bridal Buds:

When 2018 was coming to a close, we told ourselves that we definitely wanted to participate in more weddings. Sure, it was a little intimidating at the start (so many things, where to start?), but we're glad that our bridal bouquets have been receiving so much love recently. Fast forward, we've made many new friends with our brides and we're so thankful for their support and encouraging words. We've already started taking bookings for 2020, and we're definitely working towards to expanding our services in the new year.

For other wedding vendors out there, we're open to more collaborations in the new year. Slide us an email at thewallflowerbud@gmail.com!

For our future brides, don't be afraid to say hi! We're excited to forge new friendships and we're ready to offer you ideas/suggestions to make your rustic, pinterest wedding dreams come true.

Friendships beyond Collaborations:

Time really flies and it has been a year since our first product with Two Curiously. Two Curiously has become our long term partner and we've been making magic together! One of the highlights are these customised flower boxes (text 3D-printed by them, flowers by us), that will last a long time as preserved and dried flowers are used. This picture features one of our favourite colour palettes to date that blew up on our Instagram and kept us busy for a while!

We're looking forward to forge more partnerships with amazing brands in the new year. We already have something up our sleeves, so do follow us on our socials so you will be kept in the loop!

Workshops 2020?:

If you know us personally, this was definitely WAY out of our comfort zone. After long hours of preparation (and deliberation), we opened our slots for the Christmas workshops. And of course we panicked a few minutes later - "WHAT IF, nobody comes??" But that didn't happen. Our Christmas weekend was fruitfully spent in a cozy studio, crafting with so many new friends. We're so grateful for everything, really. Thank you for taking the time to share with us pictures, and especially those who messaged us personally to thank the team. We're hoping to bring you guys more TWB workshops in the future. If you'd like to suggest a workshop, let us know. We'd be happy to listen!

For all our brides and bridesmaids, we're able to do this for your hen's night too! Drop us an email and we'll work something out.

And that's it! That was our 2019. All in all, a really BIG BIG Thank you to all our friends and customers who have shown continuous support for our launches. We wouldn't be around if not for you! We've really worked so hard, learnt from our mistakes, and will continue to grow with you guys. We're really excited for new things in the year 2020, and we can't wait to share. Thank you so much for sticking around, and we'll check back in the new year.

Keep Buddin',

The Wallflower Bud Team
